BENEFITS:

- It increases the concentration of glutathione in hepatocytes, preserving the hepatocyte population.

- It has an antioxidant effect, inhibits lipid peroxidation, decreases the production of its toxic products (4hydroxynonenal and malonic dialdehyde) - maintains glutathione levels and the activity of antioxidant enzymes (catalase, superoxysmutase, glutathione peroxidase and glutathione reductase).

- It exerts a lipotropic effect by protecting mitochondria and promoting β oxidation and decreasing lipid infiltration of the organ.
